WANTED!

I was encouraged last night by the presence of the Lord in our prayer meeting, and look forward to what God is going to do in us and through us as we continue to seek Him.

There is a lot of talk today about what the church should become. Some want the church to be PURPOSE DRIVEN, others would like to see the church PROGRAM DRIVEN, some would like to see the church POLICY DRIVEN, others would like to see the church PEOPLE DRIVEN, but my prayer is that South Attleboro will be a church that is PRESENCE DRIVEN BY THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD! If we do not have His presence in our church, services, meetings, programs, then we really do not have His Church, His Heart and His purpose for the church!

I was reading an article by EM Bounds and he stated the following: "What the Church needs today is not more machinery or better, not new organizations or more novel methods, but men whom the Holy Ghost can us - men (women) of prayer, men (women) might in prayer. The Holy Ghost does not flow through methods, but men(women. He does not come on manchinery, but on men (women). He does not anoint plans, but men (women). Men (women) of prayer!!!
