I have not been blogging for a couple of weeks, due to circumstances beyond my control. However I wanted to share something today, that has encouraged me and I pray encourages you as well.
Isaiah 26:3 says - "You will keep in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you." Why because HE TRUSTS IN YOU! (God) I have been asking myself, who are you trusting to solve the problems in my life? Someone said - "Do your best, then let God do the rest." How many times when we are going through problems, trials, difficulties we believe that if we cannot do anything else, the least we can do is get upset, worried, anxious and be miserable. Philippians 1:28 AMP says - "Do not (for a moment) be frightened...for such (constancy and fearlessness) will be a clear sign...from God." When we face trials, we need to stay in peace! (I know how hard this is when your world is falling apart.) Keeping your peace does not mean you will not have troubles, but it allows God to have the last word. When we trust the Lord completely, we are no longer at the mercy of circumstances, people, or even our own emotions and limitations!
If you are facing difficult times, then rest in the Lord and allow Him to work on your behalf! "I will give you peace...." Don't lose your PEACE IN THE LORD!

HELP ME!
How many have felt that they needed help in a situation in your life? Help that no person or object can give to you? Help spiritually, physically, financially, emotionally? I think every human will at times realize that they can not fix or change the situations in life that they find themselves in on a daily basis.
Where do you turn for your help? Where do I turn for my help? I was reminded of Psalm 121 that clearly says - "I lift up my eyes to the hills - and then he asks the question: Where does my help come from? (That is a good question that we need to ask ourselves as well. Where are looking for help?
And then the Psalmist says - "My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." My help comes from the Lord - the mighty God, the Omnipotent God, the all knowing God. "He is my refuge and strength a very present help in the time of trouble."
When you read the rest of Psalm 121 - we see some great truths to hold onto when you are in need of help:
God will not let my feet slip.
God is not going to sleep on the job. He is watching over us.
The Lord is watching over us!
The Lord will keep us from all harm.
The Lord will watch our lives.
The next time you are in need of help remember Psalm 121!!
