I was reading in my devotions this morning in Luke - "Nothing is impossible for God." Everyone of us is on a mission from the Lord, and that it is impossible in our own strength! But nothing is impossible with God.
I have only been in the office this morning for a short time, and have dealt with two impossible situations in the natural. Unless the Lord shows up in these two situations then they are doomed to failure. I am asking the Lord to give us FAITH TO BELEIVE THAT NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD!
How can we have more faith in 2009?
1. The only time we really need FAITH, is when we are facing overwhelming problems or impossible situations!
2. When we are faced with impossible situations, I must make a choice to either question or doubt God, quit in discouragment and frustration, complain and whine, or I CAN CONFESS MY FAITH IN GOD!
3. Living in faith is different then living by sight. I need to get God's perspective on my challenges (not problems).
4. Stop living a life of self-pity and begin to live daily in faith.
5. Start declaring the promises of God through His Word.
If you are facing a Mission Impossible Situation, today remember that Nothing is Impossible for God.
