WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO FIND THIS CHRISTMAS?

After the major snow storm yesterday, it is beginning to look like Christmas around here. Personally, I hope this is the last of the snow for the season! (haha). Christmas is only a few days away, and people of all ages are looking to find something under the Christmas tree.

This Christmas, we need to find the JOY OF CHRISTMAS! Christmas truly is the most wonderful time of the year. Not because of the presents, gifts, trees, and all the food that we will eat. Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year because God's love is still true. Jesus came into this world, to reach down and touch us!

How can we find joy even in difficult circumstances around us? I want to look at this over the next couple of days.

Today - THE JOY OF CHRISTMAS IS TO BE FOUND IN A SPIRIT OF RECONCILIATION. Christmas should focus our hearts on the reconciling work of Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:19 - "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself." Any celebration of Christ should have reconciliation with it.
If God is reconciling the world to Himself, then we need this same spirit of reconciliation in our lives and homes. This Christmas if you want real joy then it begins with reconciliation!

May you find real joy this Christmas!
