Christmas Eve is here and the excitement and anticipation of Christmas is mounting in the lives of children and adults. We look forward to this celebration of Christ's birth and all the other activities that have come into this day. For many, it is a day to forget about the real issues of life.
Let us remember many who can not forget about the real issues of life. I was visiting in the hospital today with two of our families that are going through a crisis with their loved ones. Life continues on, and many will not be able to sit around a Christmas tree and open gifts, eat good food and spend time with family!
Let us pray for those who are in need today, and let us remember to pray for our service men and women that are in harm's way!
Let us make room for Jesus in our Christmas celebrations!
