PRAYING FOR OUR FAMILIES & FRIENDS

I was at a minister's meeting this morning and many of the requests for prayer were centered around family that are not presently serving the Lord? When I got back to the office and checked my emails I received some of these encouraging thoughts from the Launchpad and thought I would convey some of these thoughts if you are praying for unsaved loved ones.

Please take time to read John 16: 8-11 and that we see the absolute need for the work of the Holy Spirit in their lives.

How should we pray for them?

1. Pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them of thier sin and guilt before God.
That as they become aware of their sin, that it will drive them to Jesus.

2. Conviction will come on them and they will realize that their only hope is in
Jesus Christ.

3. An awareness of eternity will be overwhelming in thier lives!

4. Pray that they will realize the power of Jesus Christ is greater than any sin,
bondage, or addiction that they are battling with!

Let us keep praying and believing for every prodigal to come back to the Father!

  1. Was very uplifted by reading John 16:8-11. Reminded me once again how blessed we are to have the Holy Spirit in us and that He WILL convict the world (our loved ones) of sin, righteousness and judgement. I replaced "the world" with the names of my unsaved loved ones and was given a peace beyond understanding.

Thanks, Pastor Ron....although I do not comment often, I am truly grateful for your thoughts and writings.
