BENEFITS OF FAITH IN GOD!

As I blogged yesterday concerning faith, and that faith gives us a DIVINE PERSPECTIVE. When we develop our relationship with the Lord, we begin to see things from His perspective. As the Bible tells us - "His ways are not our ways." Many times we will not see and understand His ways, until we go through the situation and get to the other side.

Another benefit that faith brings into our lives is STRENGTH FOR TODAY! Faith will empower us to face challenges in our lives, knowing that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

S.G. Holland, the former prime minister of New Zealand said, - "faith draws the poison from every grief, takes the sting from every loss, and quenches the fire of every pain; an donly faith can do it." Faith gives a person power and strength to go on living. Today, we need His strength to face what is going on in our world!

The opposite is true as well, people that have no faith have no strength and power to face the challenges of life. John Maxwell says it this way - "Where there is no faith in the future, there is no power in the present."

I have told my son for many years now, that he needs to have faith that God is going to help him when struggles come into his life. I would tell him when difficult times come against him, declare God's Word - "I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens ME."

I want to encourage you to experience the benefits of faith today!

  1. I heard Oral Roberts on TBN today and he addressed the current economic crisis. Specifically, he said that, as we know, people are extremely fearful and that more than ever, God's people must walk in faith and not allow ourselves to get over into fear. Seed faith, he said, is absolutely important and we must not stop giving, using our mustard-seed faith and sowing faith seeds. We will reap the CHOICE SEEDS we sow! It's TIME TO WALK IN FAITH NO MATTER WHAT WE SEE, HEAR OR FEEL especially in these last days! God help us to STAY in faith so that He may be glorified in the Earth!
I understand completely, how hard, but not impossible, it is, to stay in faith. I am so good...at repenting! :) I've had to TELL myself, "Delores, you either believe or you don't! Which one will it be? Let's see. "JOY AND PEACE COME IN BELIEVING !" A. Joy B. Depression, A. Peace B. Torment, A. Life B. Death! "The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit!" If you want to abide in the Kingdom of God you better stay in faith Delores and abide in Christ! The grass is not greener on the other side Delores! The devil, that old wolf, is just trying to scare you so that you run and panic and leave the Good Shepherd's side! I'm onto you devil. NO WAY! Speak to my Good Shepherd devil! As for me, I'm going to trust and obey! LOOK AT HIM FLEE with his tail between his legs! HA-HA! "Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world!"
There is PLENTY of food and water and provision RIGHT HERE! "Fear not little flock. It's your Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom!" LET'S ENJOY IT! Rejoice and be glad! When we stay in faith and reap what we sow over here in the Kingdom of God, then those on the other side will want what we have and realize that the grass REALLY IS greener on God's side!
